A flexible visual website builder for creating, publishing, and managing simple websites. It combines reusable pages, sections, components, and themes with an approachable editing experience—designed for my own workflow and for small-business owners who want to manage their content independently.

The process
Background
I wanted more freedom than an existing website builder could provide. Instead of adapting my ideas to a fixed set of rules, I began creating my own system—one where I could introduce useful features, experiment freely, and eventually build and maintain websites for small businesses.
Mapping the System
My first step was defining the editor’s hierarchy. A website contains pages, pages contain sections, and sections contain individual blocks or reusable components.
I began with text, images, buttons, and shapes. I also planned a theme system that combines fonts, color palettes, and button styles while allowing each group to be changed independently.
Prototyping the Editor
Using a visual design tool, I created a simple overview of the hierarchy and a quick mock-up of the editor.
I explored the interactions I would need and developed a layout with a top toolbar and two side panels: one for navigating websites and pages, and another for editing page elements and sections.
AI-Assisted Development
I developed the system through an agent-agnostic workflow, moving between different AI agents and assigning them focused tasks.
I provided real examples and references, then used the agents to plan features, explore design and product decisions, solve technical problems, and manage and test updates through GitHub.
Making a 3D CAD model
Throughout development, I involved friends, family members, and people with different levels of technical experience.
Their feedback helped reveal unclear interactions, missing features, and assumptions I had overlooked. I added these findings to a living project backlog, which I continue to use for planning priorities and delegating work through my agentic workflow.
My next step is to improve the quality and simplicity of the interactions. I also want users to create reusable templates and components and connect the builder more easily to web hosting.
The long-term goal is a tool I can use to create websites for small businesses—and one that business owners can confidently use to update their own content.
